Log2Go Mobile Account Deletion Policy
Draft for review
Last updated: 2026-07-10
Log2Go users can delete their account inside the app and can request deletion outside the app.
This document is intended for public posting and for Google Play's account-deletion URL requirement.

Account deletion from inside the app
To delete a Log2Go account in the app:
- Open Log2Go Mobile.
- Go to Accounts.
- Log in if needed.
- In the Log2Go Account section, choose Edit Account.
- Go to the Delete Account section.
- Enter the current Log2Go password.
- Type DELETE in the confirmation box.
- Press DELETE ACCOUNT.
In-app account deletion takes effect immediately after confirmation.
What is deleted
When a user deletes a Log2Go account, Log2Go deletes all server-side data for that account, including all server-side QSO data:
- Log2Go account record.
- Server-side QSO records.
- Imported LoTW, QRZ.com, and eQSL.cc records stored by Log2Go.
- Station profile data stored on the server.
- Device registrations for the account.
- Encrypted connected-service credentials.
- Subscription/sync service state stored by Log2Go.
Local data stored on a user's device may need to be removed by logging out, clearing app data, or uninstalling the app, depending on the platform and app state.
What may be retained briefly
Server logs and security events may be retained for up to 90 days for security, abuse prevention, troubleshooting, and legal/operational reasons.
Account deletion outside the app
Users may request account deletion outside the app by visiting:
https://log2go.ke5zqv.net/account-deletion
If the web form is not available, email:
support@ke5zqv.net
The request should include:
- Log2Go username, if known.
- Callsign associated with the account.
- Email address associated with the account.
- A short statement requesting account deletion.
For safety, Log2Go must verify account ownership before deleting an account requested outside the app. After ownership is verified, outside-the-app deletion requests are completed within 7 days.
Subscription non-payment deletion
If a backend sync/storage subscription remains unpaid for 90 days, the subscription is treated as expired. Log2Go then notifies the user and schedules server-side data deletion. If payment is not resolved within 7 days after that notice, all user data stored on the server is deleted, including encrypted connected-service credentials.
Data export
Manual ADIF export remains a free feature. Log2Go does not require a separate export offer before account deletion, but users who want a copy of their logs should export before deleting the account.
