Subscription Terms

Log2Go trial and subscription terms

Draft for review

Last updated: 2026-07-10

These terms describe the planned Log2Go Mobile backend sync/storage subscription. Final purchase screens in Google Play or another approved billing provider control the actual purchase at the time of sale.

App: Log2Go Mobile

Developer / operator: Will Sherman - KE5ZQV

Support: support@ke5zqv.net

Website: https://log2go.ke5zqv.net

Free app and free features

The Log2Go Mobile app is free to install.

The free tier includes:

  • Local logging.
  • Manual ADIF export.
  • Net mode.

Paid backend subscription

Backend sync/storage is a paid subscription feature.

Paid features include:

  • Backend account sync across devices.
  • Cloud logbook storage.
  • LoTW, QRZ.com, and eQSL.cc backend integrations.
  • Connected-service import, upload, and confirmation-status processing.
  • Account-wide Log Stats based on synced and imported records.

Trial

New subscribers may receive a 14-day free trial. Trial availability and eligibility are controlled by the purchase screen and billing provider.

If the user does not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription may renew as a paid subscription.

Plans

Planned subscription plans:

  • Monthly: $2.99/month.
  • Yearly: $24.99/year.

Billing

Google Play Billing will be used where required for Android purchases. Log2Go may also sell subscriptions outside Google Play later for desktop, iOS, web, or other allowed channels.

If Google allows an external billing option and Log2Go implements it, the app and public documents must clearly show the billing path that applies.

Cancellation

Users can cancel through the billing provider used for the purchase. Cancelling stops future renewal but does not necessarily refund the current billing period.

Refunds

For Google Play purchases, users should use the Google Play refund process. See the Log2Go Refund Policy for details.

Non-payment, expiration, and server-side deletion

If a backend sync/storage subscription remains unpaid for 90 days, the subscription is treated as expired. During non-payment, paid backend syncing is disabled. Encrypted connected-service credentials may be retained during that period so service can resume if payment is resolved.

After the 90-day non-payment period, Log2Go notifies the user and schedules server-side data deletion. After that notice is sent, a 7-day deletion timer starts. If payment is not resolved within that 7-day timer, all user data stored on the server is deleted, including encrypted connected-service credentials.

Changes

Log2Go features, pricing, billing periods, trial availability, and included services may change over time. Users should review the purchase screen and current public terms before subscribing.
